Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use calcworks.tech.
Effective date: October 12, 2026
Our goal
We aim for calcworks.tech, including the file transfer page, to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we do
- Semantic page structure with headings, landmarks and a "skip to content" link.
- Everything can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Color contrast chosen for readability, in both light and dark mode.
- Form fields with labels, and error messages announced to screen readers.
- No flashing content. Smooth scrolling and animations respect your "reduce motion" setting.
- Pages that work on phones and with browser zoom up to 400%.
Known limitations
- The file transfer page is a desktop-style app. It works with a keyboard and screen readers, but selecting several files at once in its list relies on keyboard shortcuts (Shift/Ctrl-click) that may not suit every assistive technology. Each file can still be selected and cancelled on its own.
- The CE-AI calculator itself has a small monochrome-style text screen and physical keys, which we can't change.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on the site is hard to use, send us a message through our contact form. Tell us the page and what happened. We'll work with you to fix it or get you the information another way.
